Frequently Asked questions

How do I order cookies?

Clicking the button below will direct you to the order form. The inquiry form is where you indicate what you are looking for. I will then contact you to discuss further details. Once we have agreed on your order, an invoice will be sent and full payment is due within 48 hours. 50% is considered a non-refundable deposit which holds your place in my calendar. If payment is not received in time, your slot becomes available for the next client.

how far in advance do i have to place an order?

I tend to book out about 1-2 months in advance so it is recommended to reach out with plenty of noice. I kindly request a minimum of 2 weeks notice for all orders. Orders made with 10 days notice will be subject to a 20% rush fee. The10 days are counted from the time the invoice is paid to the pick-up date, not when the inquiry form is submitted.

There is very limited availability during Christmas as I partake in several markets. My calendar fills up by late September/early October for the remainder of the year. It is highly recommended to reach out before summer is out.

What Flavors do you offer?

At the moment, I only offer double vanilla sugar cookies. Seasonal flavors are exclusively available during markets. My cookies are perfectly balanced, have a soft bite and the icing melts in your mouth.

Do you offer gluten free cookies?

Gluten free cookies are not being offered at this time.

Do your cookies contain nuts?

While my kitchen is nut-free, there is always the risk of allergens as there is use of products such as milk, eggs, gluten, etc.

Where are they made?

I operate out of a licensed and AHS approved commercial kitchen in a converted residential space in Calgary, Alberta.

How are they packaged?

Each cookie is individually heat sealed to ensure freshness at no additional cost. Orders are carefully placed in a windowed bakery box and tied with a satin ribbon - perfect for gifting.

How long do they last?

Cookies will last up to 2 weeks on the counter. There is no need for refrigeration. Beyond that, the cookies can be placed in the freezer for up to 3 months in their original packaging. To defrost them, simply allow the cookies to come up to room temperature. If the cookies are removed from their original packaging and frozen, they need to thaw in the container unopened. Condensation can ruin the icing.

Do you ship?

Not at this moment.

Why do custom cookies cost so much?

As with anything handmade, there is a considerable amount of time that goes into the creative process. From the communication, planning, prepping, baking, decorating, and packaging - it is all done with a thoughtfulness and purposefulness. Each custom set is bespoke, completely unique and personalized to the occasion it’s made for.
